Our goal is to watch you graduate! PACE Virtual Academy is structured to help you progress through your courses at a pace that works for you so that you can graduate and start your future.

Graduation Requirements

PACE students are required to earn the same credits and meet the same milestones as in-person students. Subject.com offers all of the courses that are required for students to graduate high school.

Class of 2026 Course Requirements

Students must earn at least 12 credits per school year to graduate
English	2 English credits per year
Math	Algebra I, geometry, and algebra II are required to graduate with a Core 40 diploma.
Science	Biology, ICP/Chemistry, and 2 additional science electives are required for the Core 40 diploma.
Social Studies	All students need to take one Economics and one U.S. Government credit senior year
World Languages	Students looking to attend college are encouraged to earn World Language credits. For Academic Honors Diploma, students must complete 3 years in the same language or 2 years each of 2 different languages.
Fine Arts	For Academic Honors Diploma, students must complete 2 Fine Arts credits.
Graduation Pathway	All students must complete a graduation pathway.
Electives	Choose enough electives to complete your schedule.

Mid-Year Graduation - Seniors are permitted to graduate mid-term. Speak to our PACE Virtual Academy staff to see if you qualify to graduate a semester early.

Class of 2027 Course Requirements

Students must earn at least 12 credits per school year to graduate
English	Choose 1 English course (2 credits).
Math	Choose 1 math course (2 credits). Algebra I, geometry, and algebra II are required to graduate.
Science	Choose 1 science course (2 credits). Biology, ICP/Chemistry, and 2 additional science electives are required for graduation.
Social Studies	All students need to take U.S. History (2 credits).
World Languages	Students looking to attend college are encouraged to earn World Language credits. For Academic Honors Diploma, students must complete 3 years in the same language or 2 years each of 2 different languages.
Graduation Pathway	All students must complete a graduation pathway.
Electives	Choose enough electives to complete your schedule.

English	Choose 1 English course (2 credits).
Math	Choose 1 math course (2 credits). Algebra I, geometry, and algebra II are required to graduate.
Science	Choose 1 science course (2 credits). Biology, ICP/Chemistry, and 2 additional science electives are required for graduation.

Health	All students need to take 1 semester of Health (1 credit.)
